Faith Endures Here
Given our present growth and potential, it is absolutely the right time to undertake a renovation project that will ensure that Faith Endures Here for decades to come. To that end, we are embarking on an interior renovation campaign to enrich and beautify the sanctuary space and renovate the lower-level hall and meeting room spaces. This project creates opportunities for a deeper, more intimate encounter with God, and by extension, opportunities to love our neighbors through ministries.
Our intentions for the interior renovation project
are clear and simple:
Bring a renewed and enduring beauty
to our house of worship
Offer welcoming space
for parishioners to cultivate
faith through works
The renovated sanctuary, guided by premises of sacred Catholic architecture, will enable God's presence to be experienced in new ways and will attract the faithful more meaningfully through the beauty of liturgical worship. All those who enter will be inspired to lift their minds and hearts to higher things, leaving the world outside.

The reconfigured space will capture the enthusiasm of the dozens of ministries thriving at our parish. This will allow new ways to engage people of all ages in faith formation and fellowship.

Together, let us build a space that reflects the love, faith, and devotion of our parish community.

Faith Inspires Here
The sanctuary is the heart of any parish. Our community worships God and is nourished by God in that sacred space. In the sanctuary, we encounter God. The sanctuary itself will serve as a visual catechesis,
connecting young and old more deeply to God.

BEAUTIFICATION

God, the source of all beauty, speaks eloquently
through beauty, so we want to offer Him the best
platform to speak to our hearts. By adding iconic
elements of beauty to the sanctuary, we will make more reverent use of the space and unify the elements of our sacred liturgies.

All who enter will experience an exclusive space that connects them more deeply and directly to love, worship and a space in which to offer thanks to God. They will see and feel the distinction of being in a reverent house of God.
“Everything related to the Eucharist should be marked by beauty.”
- Pope Benedict XVI

Faith Engages Here
For decades, the lower level of Immaculate Conception Church has been a cherished gathering place where parishioners live out God’s divine commands through service and fellowship. It has become a true “workshop” of love, where people of all ages come together in faith to support our vibrant parish community.

Lower Level
RENOVATIONS

Today, more than 55 active ministries meet regularly in this humble space, for education, fellowship, and faith-based activities. This includes: 19 Service Ministries, 14 Liturgical Ministries, and 22 devoted to Catechesis/Faith Formation.

Six of the 22 Faith Formation ministries focus on youth and young adults. Twenty-five percent of the ministries specifically serve the Hispanic members of our parish. All who participate are united by a shared passion for serving God and one another.

Our parish has been blessed to grow to more than 5,500 parishioners, yet the space in which we can offer ministries has not grown. To accommodate our ministries and the proper formation of our youth, our space must also grow to meet this significant need.
The challenge is that as our ministries and sacramental preparation programs continue to grow, so does the demand for more functional and accommodating spaces.

The need for an updated, flexible layout
has never been greater.

To meet this demand for more expansive and useful space, we are embarking on this much-needed renovation project for the lower level. This transformation will create a more open, adaptable space that can accommodate larger gatherings while also providing flexible side rooms for smaller meetings. Plans even include a new Catholic bookstore and gift shop!

“To enter into the house of God, we must cross a threshold, which symbolizes passing from the world wounded by sin to the world of the new Life to which all men are called. The visible church is a symbol of the Father’s house toward which the People of God is journeying and where the Father 'will wipe every tear from their eyes.’”
Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1186
